Mijoux-Lélex
Mijoux and Lélex are the 2 authentic mountain villages in this popular family resort, which has kept their heritage and traditions.
The Valserine river crosses Mijoux, the inhabitants of the right bank are in the Jura department (Franche-Comte region) and those on the left bank are in the Ain department (Rhone-Alpes region). In Mijoux, the paintings on the house facades illustrate the various trades of the past. The village is home to the precious stones museum. |
