General Information



Haute-Joux and Mont-noir ski area is the fastest to access if coming from Paris by the TGV (high speed train). The elevation of the villages ranges from 1,000 to 1,200 m and skiers can enjoy 170 km (106 miles) of cross-country trails and a good amount of snow.
Foncine-le-Haut, the largest village of this area at 20 km (12 miles) from the town of Champagnole, is the only place for downhill skiing.
